Download video software
- If you are on a mac, install brew
- For recording your screen
- For converting all your source videos to the same constant frame rate for editing
- Install Handbrake or
brew cask install handbrake
- To edit your source videos together
- Install Blender or
brew cask install blender
- To create images overlays for titles and other effects
- Install Gimp or
brew cask install gimp
- To bulk resize images before importing into Blender
Recording Your Screen

Converting videos with Handbrake
- Launch handbrake
- Click Open Source
- Select your source video
- Set Format to MP4
- Check Constant Framerate
- Click Add To Queue
- Repeat steps 1-6 for all your source videos
- Click Start
Converting image to output resolution
$ magick mogrify -geometry 1920x1080 *.png

Useful Keyboard Shortcuts
b - Boundingbox selection mode
g - grab selected strips
x - delete selected strips
h - mute selected strip (use this after adding a transform strip)
fn-left (Home) - resizes strip window to contain all strips
shift-k - Hard cut selected strips
shift-b - Zoom to Boundingbox
shift - while in drag mode will allow precise positioning
When hovering over the timeline along the bottom
S - set start frame
E - set end frame
When hovering over a property
I - insert keyframe

- Videos limited to 128mb and 15 minutes
- Mpeg4 is acceptable for upload
